Dear Sam

Thank you so very much for your contribution at the Royal British Legion Concert on the 31st October 2008 at St Mary’s Church Tenbury Wells. The audience who ranged in ages from nine to ninety were totally bowled over by your performance; you really got the place buzzing. For a young man you display an incredible professionalism in being able to read your audience and tailor your content and delivery to what suits the occasion. You possess the personality and good character of a man beyond your age and you are a positive role model for all young people.
Your skill and dexterity on the saxophone is worthy of high praise usually reserved for acclaimed musicians of high renown.
I would also like to take this opportunity to praise your partner at the concert “LAURA”. She has an incredible voice, so clear; it seemed to echo through the church rafters. Laura’s interaction with the audience was also superb and we all look forward to seeing, hearing her again.
I wish you both well in your musical careers, knowing that with your total dedication and skills you will succeed.
I very much look forward to your performance at my Mayors Charity Dinner at the Cadmore Lodge in April 2009.

Kind regards

Richard Jones Mayor of Tenbury Wells
